The Danielsons’ journey to Centre Médical Béraca hasn’t been a quick one. For a long time, they thought of getting directly involved in mission work, but it wasn’t until 2016 Richard and Robin along with their two youngest children actually came to Haiti and first visited CMB. They would later come back for over a month to visit CMB in 2018.
Richard and Robin Danielson are from Minnesota. They have been married for almost 15 years and have six kids, two of whom are with them on this journey. Richie is a plumber who will be working in maintenance and helping with construction at the hospital. Robin, a nursing assistant, will be focusing for now on homeschooling their two youngest boys, Dane and Bo. Richie holds a bachelor’s degree in Biblical and Theological Studies with a minor in Christian Counseling from Liberty University.
They are looking forward to living, working alongside the hospital staff, and serving the community.
They find their personal mission statement in John 15:12 which is to love others as Christ has loved them. They remain confident that God will lead and guide them in ways even they themselves can’t comprehend. They have been here for two months now. Though the language barrier is a great setback, they are excited to reach the community through discipleship and to encourage the other believers in the long term.
We are grateful God has led them to CMB as it was our prayer to find people with a similar skill set to join the team. We pray the Lord will use them for his glory and the impact of their work will be seen long after they are gone.

Le parcours des Danielson au Centre Médical Béraca a été long. Depuis longtemps, ils envisageaient à s’impliquer directement dans le travail missionnaire mais ce n’est qu’en 2016 que Richard et Robin ainsi que leurs deux plus jeunes enfants sont venus en Haïti et ont visité CMB pour la première fois. En 2018 ils sont revenus pour visiter CMB pour plus d’un mois.
Richard et Robin Danielson viennent du Minnesota. Ils sont maries depuis près de 15 ans et ont six enfants, dont deux sont amenés. Richie est un plombier qui travaillera à l’entretien et aidera à la construction à l’hôpital. Robin, une infirmière auxiliaire, se concentrera pour l’instant sur l’enseignement à domicile de leurs garçons Dane et Bo. Richie détient une licence en études bibliques et théologiques avec une mineure en counseling biblique de Liberty University. Ils ont hâte de vivre, de travailler avec le personnel de l’hôpital et de servir la communauté.
Ils font du texte de l’Evangile selon Jean chapitre 15 verset 12 (aimer comme Jésus nous a aimés) leur mission personnelle. Ils restent confiants que Dieu les dirigera et qu’avec lui ils feront de grands exploits. Ils sont ici depuis maintenant deux mois. Bien qu’ils n’aient pas encore appris le Créole, ils sont ravis de tendre la main à la communauté à travers le discipleship à long terme tout en encourageant les autres croyants.
Nous sommes reconnaissants que Dieu les ait conduits au CMB car ça a été un sujet de prière pour de nombreuses années que des personnes possédant de telles compétences se joignent à l’équipe. Nous prions le Seigneur de les utiliser pour sa gloire et que l’impact de leur travail soit a vu longtemps après leur départ.
