Béraca is on the Move

Centre Médical Béraca is among the few facilities in Haiti in which day-to-day management and operations are 100% Haitian-run. CMB sustains its 24/7 care and services through low fees paid by patients.

Additional efforts to grow and train staff, advance infrastructure and technology, and introduce new equipment are crucial to our continued growth. These initiatives are reliant on our valued partnerships, donors, and visiting specialists from the US, Canada, and France who lend support to CMB's advancement.

Find out how you or your organization can be a part of CMB's programs below.

CMB regularly welcomes volunteers and specialists who serve and lend their support to many different areas of our facility. While volunteers for short and long-term projects are always needed, CMB's current priorities are:

  • Physician mentorship (cardiology, nephrology, pulmonology, diabetics, orthopedics, internist)

  • Specialists (laparoscopy, X-ray)

  • Biomedical Technicians

  • Continuing Education

  • Facility Maintenance

  • English as a second language

If you or your organization would like to get involved or are interested in providing additional services, we would love to talk with you! For more details about CMB's current needs and opportunities for partnership, email us.

GIVE ONLINE

Gifts from friends and partners enable CMB to go beyond our daily operating costs and bring about true change. These financial gifts allow CMB to care for the poor, complete important capital projects, and provide physician-in-training scholarships for Christian-Haitian physicians to complete necessary residency training.

Currently, just 5% of CMB's budget comes from outside gifts which limits advancement of these vital initiatives. To learn more about our current initiatives and capital projects in need of financial support, click here.

We’re on a mission to share the love of Christ by bringing compassionate and quality healthcare to Haiti’s northwest coast for generations to come. We treat over 250 patients a day, and we’re only just beginning.

CMB prioritizes incorporating faith and work and we seek like-minded individuals who want to help us grow. Opportunities exist for residents, physicians, nurses, and administrative roles. If you want to be a part of what we're building, we want to hear from you!
